This is a half-day permablitz to build the maturing bays for the thermophilic compost. The focus for the permablitz will be to construct three compost bays where the compost can mature for 4-6 months. The thermophilic compost heaps built at the permablitz on 22nd August have heated up and been turned multiple times. They are now cooling down and need a space to mature. This permablitz is going to build the bays needed for the maturing process.

Mini workshops will include:

• Explaining the purpose of the maturation stage of composting
